Portfolio > Notes Towards A Spiral Binding

Notes Towards A Spiral Binding is my MFA Thesis Exhibition from December of 2005. The show was put together to comment on the complex pairing of Truth and Faith. The sculptures act as veils that show a believable facade, but upon investigation do not offer support or nourishment. The painting offers a representation of a space we cannot see but asks to be trusted as a fill-in. This gap between "thoughts of support" and "tangible evidence of support" invites the viewer to contemplate the believability of thoughts without touching and/or seeing.
